Mechanics

Recently I've found interest in the profession of mechanics.  Mechanics service and repair cars, truck and other automobiles. Mechanics jobs require hands-on work as well as a working knowledge of computer technology. During a typical day, a mechanic may replace entire engines or engine systems, repair or replace non-functioning parts in the engine and perform routine maintenance tasks. Knowing how to find a mechanic jobs will help you get started in this highly in-demand career. There are generally 5 steps to becoming a mechanic.
    •  1. Complete training to learn how to work on automotive systems. Attend technical or trade school for six months to one year to gain a strong education in mechanics. Have a strong educational background to increase your chances of finding a job.
      2. Write your resume and cover letter, detailing educational achievements and any work history you may have. A professional resume should be neatly typed on a single page. Include relevant contact information and special skills. The cover letter serves as brief introduction that will summarize your skills and experience.
      3. Visit online job boards to search for mechanic jobs. Free online job boards may be searched by city and/or state. Email your resume and cover letter to any viable job opportunities you find listed.
      4. Look for mechanic jobs in the local classified ads. Call or mail your response according to the directions in the ad.
      5. Call or visit local repair shops, car dealerships and automotive-supply stores. Bring in your resume and ask the hiring manager about available positions.
I think becoming a mechanic would be a fun , fulfilling career. I definitely will consider it in the future
